The Public Health Digital Library has added a number of new journals and e-Books for the 2025 -2026 access year.  Resources are chosen based on requests from users of the PHDL, data of users who tried to access a journal article that was not in our collection,  and requests made through Document Delivery.

Journals

  • Milbank Quarterly, Wiley Publishing
  • Environmental Science & Technology, American Chemical Society

eBooks

We have added a suite of  eBook from the American Academy of Pediatrics.  These titles are primarily in pediatric infectious diseases.  A subset of these are patient education (consumer health) titles.

  • Managing Infectious Diseases in Child Care and Schools: A quick Reference Guide
  • Equitable and Inclusive Care in Pediatrics: A Compendium of AAP Clinical Practice Guidelines and Policies
  • Pediatric Pulmonology
  • Caring for the Hospitalized Child: A Handbook of Inpatient Pediatrics
  • The Clinician’s Guide to Pediatric Nutrition

The STAT!Ref eBook platform, where there are more than 70 titles available, continues to be an important part of the digital library, but over the years we continue to add eBooks from other publishers/platforms:  To browse our full list of eBooks, use the PHDL’s Ebooks tab where you can search by title, topic, author, etc. or scroll through the entire collection of eBooks.

We gather requested titles from the Suggestion Box found in the Public Health Digital Library page.  The Suggestion Box is always open, we view the requests and make decisions about what to collect based on scope, pricing, and availability.
