3 Upcoming Webinars for the Public Health Workforce

The Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) has announced 2 new webinars that may be of interest to the public health workforce.  In addition to these webinars, the Public Health Digital Library will be holding a training on Policy Map.

Upcoming NNLM classes:

• Kolina Koltai  will be speaking on “Understanding Vaccine Hesitancy and Social Media’s Role in Spreading Vaccine Misinformation”  The webinar will be held on March 1st, 2021 at 1 pm ET.  The webinar qualifies for 1 CHES credit.
• Social and Environmental Determinants of Maternal Health Disparities and a Roadmap to Effective Solutions on April 20, 2021, at 12 pm PT.  This NNLM webinar  will be presented by Dr. Chandra L. Jackson, an Earl Stadtman Investigator who leads the Social and Environmental Determinants of Heath Equity Research Group in the Epidemiology Branch of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.   The webinar qualifies for 1 CHES credit.

Upcoming Public Health Digital Library class:

• Policy Map has added new tools and functions to its website.  Join the PHDL to learn more about these new features .   The Policy Map training will be held in April 2021 and is open to subscribers to the Public Health Digital Library.
