Addressing Technology Needs in Native Communities

The National Tribal Broadband Community has announced an upcoming webinar on “Improving Digital Inclusion and Broadband Infrastructure in Native Communities”.  This 2 day webinar, will take place on May 3rd and 4th from 1-5 pm EST.   The free webinar is for tribal librarians and will help address technology needs of the community.   Topics include:

  • Assessing community needs
  • Using technology for language and cultural preservation
  • Developing technology programs for people of all ages
  • Funding for technology needs

To learn more or to register, visit the Digital Inclusion Workshop Registration webpage.   Proposals for the workshop are still be excepted on a space available basis.  The workshop is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
