ePatientDave on Medical Librarians and Patient Information

“I want both the public and medical librarians to know how important it is for them to connect” –ePatientDave 

Dave deBronkart, also known as ePatientDave, was one of the speakers at the NNLM Advancing Engagement through Research, New Trends and Opportunities Conference on March 29-30, 2022.  Dave spoke his unexpected diagnosis with glaucoma and how that motivated him to learn more information as a patient. This is the second time Dave was a guest speaker for NNLM, but this time his speech discussed how his approach to learning information in a new field as a patient.
