Meet the NNLM Region 1 Team!

Since the beginning of the year we’ve had three new hires at the Region 1 Medical Library, so we’d love to reintroduce ourselves!  The next couple of posts will provide a little more about ourselves and what we do.

The Region 1 Medical Library is located at The Health Sciences and Human Services Library at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, which provides programs, services, and dedicated support for NNLM Members in Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Faith Steele, MLS, is the Outreach and Education Librarian for Region 1 for the Network of the National Library of Medicine at the University of Maryland Baltimore. She connects libraries to community health partners, provides training and funding to help communities access quality health information.
