The New England AIDS Education and Training Center (NEAETC) recently released a recorded session on a collaborative research program that looked at public health, emergency medical services data and spatial epidemiological analysis to map opioid-related incidents.

More than Healthcare – Improving Public Health Response through Partnerships: A Unique Collaboration to Combat the Opioid Crises in Lowell MA

The panel style discussion provided a framework for looking at the shifting epidemic, how public health officials can identify and respond to neighborhoods with the highest risk of overdose, as well as support efforts for targeted public health interventions.
