Addressing Gun Violence: Limited Time Resource for MUSE in Focus

Project MUSE is providing free access to full-text articles and books focused on understanding and preventing gun violence. MUSE in Focus: Addressing Gun Violence aims to “encourage the broadest possible engagement with current research and expertise on the topic as the latest round of gun policy debates and discussions continue in the wake of shootings in California, Texas, and Ohio.”

The collection was selected by Project MUSE staff and publishers to offer a broad range of perspectives and expertise relevant to policy debates resurging with each new incident of gun violence.  Among the book collection are

 

 

While most of the collection is only available on a temporary basis, Reducing Gun Violence in America: Informing Policy with Evidence and Analysis (2013) (ed. by Daniel W. Webster and John S. Vernick has been openly available for access since 2017.

 

Project MUSE is a collaboration of Johns Hopkins University Press and more than 100 other scholarly presses providing full-text versions of scholarly journals and  monographs
